Snow Days

We are now in that tough 6 week period from the middle of January through the end of February. Once we make it to March 1st the weather starts to break in southeastern Ohio. We have had three funerals at the church already this year. That is a lot for a congregation our size.

I was feeling tired a couple weeks ago, but we had a couple snow and ice days last week. That allowed me to work at home and catch up on some of the writing and filing that needed to be done. My energy level is amazingly high for this time of year.

Jean and I are feeling especially happy about the upcoming wedding of David and Kacey in Alabama. The two of them are working on wedding plans. It looks like wedding will be on May 30. We will pass on details as we hear them.

We talk with David and Jonathan and their families several time each week. I try to call Mom and Dad Seitz most evenings. We also are checking regularly with Jean's sister Judy. Jean's Dad has been ill for several weeks and is now at a nursing care home in Williamstown. Sometime we will make a trip East to see him.

I hope you all are staying warm during these cold weeks.
